Valentine’s Day Books

We brought out our Valentine’s Day books collection today! Do you have a collection? Did you pull out any winter children’s books? Most of ours are from their Grandma (and Grandpa) and we love them! Here are a few of our favorites.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Thanks for supporting my blog by shopping the links at no extra cost to you!

I found all of these books available on Amazon, but some may or may not make it in time for Valentine’s Day so be sure to check closely. Also don’t forget your local book stores! And of course your local library. I like to keep a Note on my phone for titles when we go to the library for specific books I want to check out for them because I definitely won’t remember.

I love the illustrations in this book! Isn’t the cover beautiful? We are also partial to books with or about animals. I also like how this book talks about some different feelings and flaws we can have. This gives you a way to talk to your kiddo about it. Some things are easier to teach through books!

Valentine's Day Books: The Love Letter

This is one of my favorites. Again, animals, and the moose is my favorite animal! I’ve never used to have a favorite animal, but my kids made me choose one haha. This book is so clever and cute. The ending is too funny. Definitely check this one out! This book also makes me think of one of my best friends. Her kids love Valentine’s Day so much and they work so hard and throw a party every year, adorable!

Valentine's Day Books: Groundhug Day

I loooooooooove this book. It is so sweet. If you are a momma and haven’t read this book, you must! It is a great book for a baby shower gift or newborn. It is very poetic and I think the words are more for you, but the rhythm and pictures will still be sweet for your little one.

Valentine's Day Books: You are my I Love You

Speaking of baby showers…I received this one at mine with my first from a sweet teacher friend. It makes me think of her every time we read it. And, we have read it lots! I think books are such sweet gift ideas, useful and sentimental! Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare expressing their love for each other is so special.

Valentine's Day Books: Guess How Much I Love You

The Biggest Kiss is such a fun read for your little one. Kisses, kisses, and more kisses. You will have fun reading this to them and giving lots of kisses. Cute animals and illustrations, better suited for younger ones, but sweet for all.

Valentine's Day Books: The Biggest Kiss

This book is sure to make your child feel loved. All different animals and their babies and lots of kind praises. The illustrations are so fun and remind me of Eric Carle.

Valentine's Day Books: The Littlest Things Give the Loveliest Hugs

This book is really cute and follows how love will grow from the kiss you blow. It is silly and playful and, more animals! The book comes full circle and I really loved the colorful heart illustrations on each page. They remind me of the hearts printable I made last year, it’s free😘!

Valentine's Day Books: Love and Kisses

This book is soooooooooooo fun and heart-warming. It was from my sister, and has definitely been a nighttime favorite. I love how little ones can read it too, as there aren’t many words at all. But, tons of emotions! Watching their face as you read it or they do is priceless. Have you read this one?

Valentine's Day Books: Hug

More animals, I’m sorry! If you don’t like animals then I guess my book recommendations aren’t for you😂! This book goes through how different animals would kiss goodnight. It is whimsical and warming! It also comes full circle and is a great bedtime read. I’m not sure why, but it is also super cheap on Amazon right now, ha! Just putting that out there in case it is helpful to you now or to save as a gift.

Valentine's Day Books: If Animals Kissed Good Night

And last, but not least, this is the book I am getting them this year to add to our Valentine’s Day Books! I am excited to check it out and am encouraged by the reviews.

A little birdie told me my kiddos would also be receiving this book from one of the best book-gifters I know (Grandma ;))! So I am confident it is worth you checking it out as well!

Well, what do you think? Do you have any of these in your Valentine’s Day Books collection!? Do you have any to recommend? If so, please leave it in the comments below. We would all love to hear what you love!

Happy reading!❤️📚
